Hi Luisa, what an interesting person to learn about! It is so easy to forget just how long ago the Olympics started. Can you work out how long it has been?
Hi Luisa (and Ms. Stone!),
I really enjoyed reading your post all about Milo of Croton. He was a very interesting person and incredibly capable athlete. I read that he was so strong that he used to carry a calf around on his shoulders every day, as part of his training. Can you imagine? I would struggle to carry anything like that around for even a few minutes let alone a full day!
I really appreciate that you included your sources for the information, as well, Luisa. That is an excellent habit to get into and it is one that most people forget to do. Good on you for remembering!
Cheers, Rachel
