Media team photographers for Te Oro Presentations

On Friday, 5 members from our school media team and I were assigned an important job at Te oro when we have the Inquiry Presentations with all the Manaikalani schools. 6 students from our school and 6 students from St Pius are going to go to the Presentations as Manaikalani's Te oro media team or as I like to say Photographers. At Te oro we have to take photos of the projects/presentations, the students presenting, the school performances, art displayed in the Te oro center and more photos of the schools attending Te oro. I am very excited to be taking on this important role and getting to interact with other students as well. We have also been given a task sheet for the types of photos Fiona Grant wants us to take.

Manaiakalani Movie🎥

For this year's Room 7 Manaikalani movie we are doing a super hero themed movie. Right now that is all I can reveal for if you do get the opportunity to watch our movie you would be astonished and surprised.

Right now, Room 7 and the main characters are currently filming the different scenes. Our movie is all positive and a comedy. Once our movie is done and dusted, for sure our three minute movie will blow mines and make people laugh. Surprisingly for our movie we need a couple of props to get into our characters, as well as glasses, capes, masks and plenty of cameras. All thanks to Miss. Stone and Mrs. Tofas generosity.

Our Room 7 movie will be great. And maybe if our movie is a great hit hopefully they will show our movie at the movie in the park.

Manaikalani Visitors

Yesterday(Friday), in the middle block Miss.Stones friends or Manaiklani teachers visited Glen brae school. They first visited our school to see how we learn with our devices. During that time we were working on our Music Inquiry. So it was really easy to explain our Inquiry projects for we learnt so much on it. Some of the visitors were amazed at our netbooks because there are netbooks in our class that are really small. Another grouped explained their careers and where they teach at. Other were admired at our learning tools and how we learnt on them. Then Miss. Stone came and we were very excited because Miss.Stone usually doesn't come on Fridays(She has to go University). Soon almost all of them had left, except for Miss.Stone and one person. Her name was Mrs.D, she is a Health/P.E teacher at Tamaki College for the year 9's. She watched us play Ball Tiggy and Volleyball for fitness. Miss. Stone had played with us too, but like some of us we tried our best. Then as fitness finished Mrs.D left and Miss. Stone left to University.

It was such an pleasure to meet all those nice people. One day I would like to become a Manaikalani teacher in training too well it really depends doesn't it.
