Term 1 Reflection

This term was such a bumpy train ride. Full of up's and downs.

This term I found the work we were provided very challenging and interesting. My favorite experience was getting to know each of my fellow class mates. Though it was the hardest experience I have ever had, I got used to hanging around them.

This term I achieved last years goal of going above the national standard in writing, which is 4P. In maths I got fonder of using various strategy to solve multiplication, division and decimals problems. Also this term I joined the softball inter school team which was also one of my goals, to join every inter school sport available. Luckily our softball team cooperated together to beat the other team and with that team work came 3rd place.

This term was very surprising. I found that I can be myself around my classmates and now I feel that way, I feel very confident. Now all I need to improve on is my reading and maths as well as my behavior. I am looking forward for the rest of the year and now I know  the train tracks are going to be bumpier.

Maths Reflection

In Maths Today with Mrs. Parker I learnt how to use a new strategy using multiplication. For example we were given the equation 40 times 8, to brake it down Tamati and I, took the 10 out of 40 and worked out what 4 times 8 was and the answer was 32. Then we added the 10 back to the answer 32 which made 320. Instead of using repeating addition we used multiplication to  the equation a simple and easy way which is a stage 6 stragety that we used

Exciting event

I haven't been blogging lately because I was very busy(No Comment), but there was one exciting event that happened during the holidays and i'm pretty sure i'll be writing more of it during class time.

The exciting event was a Sacred heart party, if you thought that I went to rainbow end well you were wrong. The party was great but the DJ player was playing the music too loud. Even though I am saying the party was exciting, I didn't do much at all at the party but watch my older sisters and brother dance hilariously, while I was laughing in the background. But besides that we had a huge feed and there were a lot of people and a lot of dancing. I'm not going to say anymore information about the party because I am writing a whole recount about. Oh and in the holidays I mostly, played on our PS4, sleep, do most of my homework,(Just need to write narrative) and read.

Holidays starts

The first week of our relaxing holidays, just going to read, fall asleep and hope no one is going to wake me up. Oh yeah and finish all my homework that I was given, I got a lot of homework but I can finish it by the time we go back to school. Yesterday I watched Annabelle, it was terrifying I couldn't close my eyes until I knew that there was nothing staring at me inside my closet. Soon my nightmare turned into a dream, I got to watch the new movie well kind of, Hunger Games Mocking Jay which was great.

What a great start to my holiday
