During the first week of the Holidays,  had been listening more into songs. Today's lyric of the week is Don't dream it's over cover by Miley Cyrus & Ariana Grande (Originally sung by Crowded House). I chose this song because it speaks about never getting up "there is freedom within".

Our Cup Song performance!

Music Inquiry

Today our music inquiry group finally performed our Cup song item. At first rattles went through my body but when I found out that we were getting help from the girls in our class I was moved. It was time to sing and I was ready but also nervous. The start of our performance was shaky but Angelica and I ended it on a high note(I mean a positive ending). Maara and Courtney did a great jobs on keeping the cups on beat. Also Fusi, Linda, Mele and Dora backed us up by singing with us, thank you for that girls. I think all of us really out done our selves and that we can do better next time with more confidence. I would like to see the other groups beat our performance. Bring it on!.

I believe that these two artists are the most successful female artists of all time. Well thats just my opinion. But I can't seem to work out who is more success full in their careers out of Beyonce and Whitney Houston. If I were to come up with one I would say Beyonce. Beyonce has sold a lot of albums but I would say her latest album is a smash hit. Beyonce gets payed 3 million dollars a day just for that album, Lemonade.

Music Inquiry-The Cup song

Tomorrow is our day to perform our musically involved performance. Right now I am very nervous to perform in front of the class. As you might know reading my recent post about our Music Inquiry my group(Courtney, Dora and Angelica) are performing the cup song. A song with a lot of beats. We only have till Morning Tea tomorrow to practise our item. After our performance, Mele and her group is going to perform their performance the next day.

Musical Inquiry-Reading

For Reading our main focus is of course Music. My group is focusing on the differences between Whitney Houston and Bey-once's careers. This will help us learn more about them as well as their musical careers. We are trying find this information to then place it into a Venn Diagram. That way we see the similarities as well as there differences. I think this topic is very interesting for I think Whitney and Bey-once have some things in common in their careers and their life.
