Day 2~Nz Top 3 Landmarks~Tom and Vinicuis

In Rio, there most famous landmark is the large statue of Jesus called "Christ the redeemer". Now I will be listing the top 3 landmarks in Nz that i think is very famous.

1. The Sky Tower
The sky tower is the tallest building in NZ. Actually the 2nd tallest building in NZ because the tallest building is called Metropolis(tallest residential building-19 floors). The tower was built in 1995 and only has 38 floors. The sky tower was built in Auckland city. Part of the tower is the Auckland City casino and the sky tower is also known for people to bungee jump off.

2. Auckland Art Gallery
Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki is the principal public gallery in Auckland, New Zealand, and has the most extensive collection of national and international art in New Zealand. It frequently hosts travelling international exhibitions.

Our school syndacite had visited the Art Gallery earlier in the term. The art pieces were very interesting and spectacular views. There were many types of art designs there like cubism, perspective, sculptures and many more.











3. Waiheke Island
Waiheke Island is in the Hauraki Gulf of New Zealand, about 17.7 km from Auckland. It is the second-largest island in the gulf, after Great Barrier Island.

Food description

This week I am doing a recap of my best writing from this term. My best writing for description would have to be my Whit takers descritption. Not only did I write a great piece of writing I managed to deliver a piece of writing at a high standard. To create my descriptive writing I described my food using my 5 senses.

And after I finished my writing I gathered all this information to create a my descriptive writing. To add more garnish to my writing I added in a background picture to make my writing more advertising so that people would want to eat Whit takers chocolate. This was my final outcome.

Space

A never ending space, out of this world. Where there’s nothing but darkness and sparkles of light. If you get lost there’s no telling where you end up, maybe you’ll get sucked into a disintegrating black hole.

Just imagine being in a floating machine, soaring through the universe. Bright stars passing by shimmering brightly in the night sky, flashing and flickering in various colours. But wait that’s not all, all the planets glistening with elegant colours, standing out astonishingly. There are more than one universe, one more beautiful than the other.

If you think that’s exciting, wait until you check out our hovering ship. Leather surroundings and various buttons, just eager to try all of them. With one push on one button, all is weightless with no force pulling you down. Hovering free in the air, floating with grace, gliding with such peacefulness. Zooming rapidly though the universe, passing by astonishing views filled with colour and all types of shapes. Outside our universe our more worlds, where there are replicas of our planet somewhere out in the dark consuming space of wilderness.

There’s only one livable planet that comes to mind. A place very familiar, which is very divine. A place full of all colours and living sources. Yes, you guessed it, the one and only Earth. Not only are we the only livable planet, we are filled with large amount of land with water surrounding the land. With beautiful colours, mostly blue and green. But the best thing that comes with this planet, is the civilized animals who rule among the earth.  

Food description

Our work for writing today was to create a description about a certain food to make the audience want to eat it. The food I chose was chocolate. To display my writing I put my writing on a Whitaker's background.

Mary-Anne

This is my description about my second older sister who I adore very much.

Firefly like eyes dazzle from a distance and right there she’s recognized. No one can resist her deadly glare which lures you and takes you under her control. Her long light ash brown hair looks like a flowing golden river. The blonde streaks in between her luscious hair gives her hair a light feeling. Her smooth pale skin feels like a serene polished pearl that glistens when touched. The hair that straightens up on her skin feels like soft grass. Even if you are a metre away or closer you can still pick up her velvety scent that makes your nose bloom up with excitement.

Though her appearance is appealing her personality is not so far away. She moves slightly different from the others, like a prancing horse but slightly gentle. To get her adrenaline fired up all you have to do is touch her belongings, she steams up ready to explode full of anger. Though sometimes her movements are graceful like angels disguised as swans.

She might seem peaceful and graceful but she’s all tenacious, stubborn and rough when it comes to her hobbies. It’s like a butterfly and a buffalo except she’s the buffalo. Her hobbies are playing rugby(with boys) and just going on social media. Her and her phone are like honey and glue stuck to each other. Her horn like fists power through the air like a sword cutting through thin air when she is play fighting.
