Kiwi Can

Another win for us at Kiwi can. Yes, we received twenty five points in total. Such a improvement from last weeks points. We worked hard on Respect, Participation, Encouragement, Positive Attitude and mostly our Teamwork. Today was one of those strive to succeed days where we were trying our hardest to be respectful.

Even better we got another topic, which is Accountability. Accountability means many things but I would say the main word to define it is "Taking on Responsibility". Before we left for our energizer we talked more about making good choices, Integrity, and Accountability.

For our Energizer we played a game called Buddy Buddy. We first found a partner and made circle with or partners behind us. So there are two circles. Then Mr. Numia would call out Buddy Buddy left or right, and we would run left around the circle. The last team to reach their partners were eliminated. And so the game went on until the last two teams were standing.

For our Activity we had played a game called Overtake. This game was my overall favourite. We were put into two teams according to where we standing. Team one had the soccer ball and team two had a basketball. The aim of the game was to obviously over take the other team by passing the ball fast to get in front of the other team. The twist to the game was, if you drop the ball than everybody in your team had to do one star jump, which was an advantage to the other team. Team one(my team)ended up winning by four points. Afterwards we went back to class where we got ready for our GKQ's(General Knowledge Questions).

Today's Kiwi can session was absolutely Fantastic. Not only did we receive high points but we had a lot of fun. I can't wait for next weeks session and I am looking forward to seeing our class win the Kiwi can award.
